Your industry is our challenge: for decades we have been developing custom solutions in the fields of separation technology industrial furnace construction, marine/offshore, power technology and chemical and petrochemical industries. Our customers can rely on our comprehensive expertise in casting technology and benefit from our experts’ knowledge of the materials, having complete confidence that S+C truly knows the areas of application in which our products must permanently display the highest performance.

“Made by S+C” stands for quality. Our steels are used under the most demanding conditions, which is why our product range includes oxidisation-, acid- and heat-resistant steels, high temperature materials and other alloys. Our variety of materials ranges from low-alloyed steels to complex stainless steels. As a result, we are able to present you with potential savings through alternative production processes, designs and materials.

Our ‘one stop shop‘ is your advantage

We use a broad range of production processes, including spin casting, precision casting and static mould casting. This flexibility, in combination with our wide variety of materials, makes it possible to provide you with a customised product that is perfectly adapted to suit your needs. Our extensive capacity is topped off with a broad list of machining options, thanks to our diverse welding and testing facilities.

Casting technology in detail:

Spin casting: This process is used to create components with a very pure an highly compressed structure. The products are free from impurities and and suitable as first-class high performance materials.

Static casting: Mould cast products feature a high level of freedom in design, shape and dimensions that impress from the word go. Because this production process results in the customer’s desired shape right from the start, processing is not required, saving both time and money.

Precision casting: Smaller, complex cast components in a range of sizes up to 25 kg and 400 mm length are best manufactured using the precision casting process. This gives an extremely good price–performance ratio, whether we are supplying rough-turned or finished, ready to use components.
